For school students, anxiety about grades is nothing new. But this year, scholars also could be concerned about the H1N1 influenza pathogen and missing classes.
Dorinda Lambert, associate director of Kansas State University’s’s support services, asserts that scholars could be worried about getting sick, but only insofar as it’ll affect their capability to perform their academic obligations.

The 22nd European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) Congress has discussed findings about the treatment of gerneralised anxiety disorder (GAD). The conclusion was that Pregablin is effective as adjunctive therapy if the patients have not responded optimally to 2 previous treatments.

Depression, anxiety and drug and alcohol dependency cases are most likely twice as high as professionals have assumed.
The journal Psycholigical Science published a study on September 10, 2009 that finds that over 40 percent of young adults are suffering from anxiety disorder and/or major depression. Drug companies could all of a suffen enjoy a boom during these economical tough times.

BMC Medicine has reported that scientists in the UK has followed 10-year old children in 1970 into adulthood. They found a link between anxiety, depression, and weight gain.The children who felt worried and anxious were more likely to become obese. Girls were way more affected than boys.

For a test period of 6 months patients with minor anxiety and depression in Westminster area (UK) are being sent to the library for self-help books instead of a medial treatment. Sometimes medication is needed, but many cases of anxiety depression can be cured without.
