Depression is the first step on the path of spiritual enlightenment. Don’t be discouraged, it’s a gift.

You are so sexy.
I believe your on the something, because I was going thru Dilly of a Pickle leading into 2011. I kept dropping things and avoiding life that I once thought was “my way” of life. Now Im so content with letting life come and pass and I just breathe easier… I hated being depressed. Never felt so alone and low low down. But when I realized thats exactly what and who I was, ALONE AND LOW LOW DOWN, I accepted the oneness and I raised the low tho HIGH! It was a gift, It was a choice. To stay or move
Thankyou MrAshToast, you’re the only “spiritual advisor” I’ve known to speak any sence.
Stop it at 0:07 hhaha
@Alexisme1001 Good lad.
Tom- While I agree that depression’s “silver lining” is that coping with it necessitates a strengthening of certain aspects of the mind, I do not believe that depression is either good or bad. It is simply a circumstance, a condition which influences natural selection, enhancing the diversity of the species by favoring those who are strong enough to adapt to it.
I saw some of what your talking about the other day in my wheelie bin.
depression is you going from an ugly bug to a beautiful butterfly, once you brake through you got wings
I feel your pain, it runs deep, share it with me!
@MrAshToast (Pt. 2) I guess basically it depends if the ego perceives itself as having something to live for or not. If it’s got an attachment to staying alive, there is resistance, fear, even rage. I think there’s truth in what you say about depression. It makes the letting go happen so much more easily when the mind’s not clinging to its beloved world with all its might.
@MrAshToast Ah, see? I knew I was on to something! A lot of teachers talk about this sort of blockade of fear one must cross over into awakening as though it’s something everyone encounters, and it seems to confuse some people because not everyone DOES encounter it. I think it depends what sort of ego-program is running; if it’s a “happy ego”, it’s like, “Oh! I am dying! Goodbye, world!”
If it’s a depressed ego, the slip into awakening is much less dramatic; it says something like “Eh. Fuck it.”
If it’s total disillusionment, doesn’t that mean it’s free from illusion? Doesn’t disillusion mean “free from illusion.”
Doesn’t this just say the precise opposite of your ‘I don’t trust unhappy people’?
one of your best videos, very wise indeed
@EdenConsciousness Your theory is sound. I didn’t experience that death. I just experience the absolute self-destruction of the ego, which, I am grateful, pushed me into the Self! :0 ) x
@TrueAstralJerry You’re not so bad yourself Jerry! :0)
@WestyPoppins Have courage, it’s really a gift. Anything that forces you to be alert and AWARE is a gift. Stay in that awareness. Be fiery in your determination. Await the call of the Self, that will deliver you from your apathy and anomie…:) xx
much love
@ojr777 Ah yes, my story is very similar to his. I love that guy, very simple and to the point
@noahinthewhale I smoke allot of weed and perhaps that’s holding me back and keep me in a cycle of depression and resentment.
@noahinthewhale yeah but confusing maybe if i listened to myself i would understand, it doesn’t change anything in fact im more resentful since having my third eye activate and these experiences. Sometimes i just feel angry like i want revenge upon whatever caused me to be here, i don’t want anything to with it i just want to asphyxiate myself with nitrous oxide and let go of everything with out a care. The way life makes you think you have a purpose people friends family and yourself lie.
Ekheart tolle became enlightened while depressed. btw u should do an impression of that troll looking chap lol
@OneMove33 that’s amazing!
@noahinthewhale lol yes we are. I do feel other chakras, i am addicted to certain things related to my lower chakras. I meditated once when i was sobre for energy i ended up seeing a ufo which i felt connected to, felt deep humour weird energy went home my crown chakra activated and as good as that brain orgasm was the whole thing was a surreal confusing experience. I dont know what to do, even though i have these experiences i just want to go smoke weed chill out from this silly existence.
@EdenConsciousness And I agreed with you.
@noahinthewhale I was talking about what you said. What you said was bullshit.
